New Eyes

On 20060201 I picked up a fairly high tech new set of glasses. The lenses are high refraction with anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings (the Scotch Guard package). The frames are all Titanium made by Mitani. I picked this pair up from Lens Crafters. They were not done in about an hour. My prescription strength required that they send out for the lenses.

My old glasses are over six and a half years old. I don't get glasses very often. These new ones give me much sharper vision. It is quite an improvement. If they wear well, I will be quite happy with them. Right now they seem to fit like they were made for my face. The old ones were kind of loose. Also the plastic bits around the ears on the old frames are all cracked up. These new frames have no plastic. There is just the soft ruber bits for the nose.
